 Allura & Arcia created this fantastic game to empower your kids. This game was developed by a team with over 25 years in Psychology & Mindfulness. It consists of 50 exercises to help kids feel empowered. Cards are divided into 5 categories. Take your time and repeat exercises.

Self Compassion
Read very carefully each exercise and fo it together with your kids
  • STING LIKE A BEE!
    Buzz like a bee. Scream "You can't stop me! I have a job to do."

  • COMFY SEAT!
    Find your favorite place to sit. Give yourself a pat on the back and say, "Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow." Repeat this until you accept that it is okay to make mistakes.

    Give yourself a hug! Say, "I make the world a better place."

    What would I do if I had all the courage in the world? What area of my life do I need more courage in?

  • LAUNCHING INTO SPACE!
    Pretend to blast off in a rocket. Scream "3....2....1, I will have a good day."

    Jump up and yell "I am loved." Jump up again and say, "I am so loved".

  • STRONG AND MIGHTY!
    Pretend to be a bodybuilder. Flex your muscles and shout, "I am strong! I am mighty!"

    Roar like a lion. Say "I can learn from my mistakes."

    Pretend to be your favorite animal. Walk around saying, "I am a problem solver!"

    Do five jumping jacks. After each one say, "If I can't do it yet, I will keep trying."

    Pretend to be a scuba diver. Pretend to dive through the ocean looking for encouraging words. SHoult out words that come to mind.

    Take a bow. Clap your hands and say, "I am so talented."

    Pick up your pretend cape. Shout our, "I can do it!"

  • LOOKING INSIDE....
    Look at yourself in the mirror. PRetend people can see inside your mind. What do they see?

    Use your hands to make binoculars and say, "I have a bright future!"

    Jump high in the air. Shout, "I am a rising star!"

    Pretending to be the sunshine popping out from behind the could. Shoult, "After the rain, the sun will always reappear."

    LIe on your back and look at the clouds. Pretend you see words written on them about how awesome you are! What words do you see?

    Think of one thing you really admire about yourself! Shout it out for everyone to hear!

Relaxation

  • BLOWING CANDLES!
    Pretend you are blowing out candles. Breathe until all the candles are blown out. What did you wish for?

  • FLOATING IN THE AIR!
    Pretend you are floating on a cloud. Say "I am brave!"

  • IMAGINATION!
    Imagine you are a starfish. Lie down and close your eyes. Say to yourself "It feels wonderful to relax."

  • BUZZING BEE!
    Pretend to be a buzzing bee. Move around freely saying, "The world needs me."

  • STEP OUTSIDE!
    Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Between each breath say, "Today will be a winning day."

  • MUSIC MOVEMENT!
    Put on some music that matches your mood. Allow your body to move with the music. Say "I like moving around."

  • STREEEEEEE-T-CH IT OUT!
    Stand up tall. Stretch your arms out as wide as possible. Make small circles as you say, "Life is good."

  • BREATHE DEEP!
    Sit down. Relax your body. Put your hand on your stomach. Take a deep breath in. Hold it for 3, 2, 1... then slowly breathe out through your mouth. 3...2....1

  • FLOATING LIKE A FEATHER!
    Close your eyes. Pretend you are a feather slowly floating from high in the sky. Take deep breaths as you gently fall toward the ground.

  • TIPPY TOES!
    Go up and down on your tippy toes for two minutes. Say "I feel myself getting stronger." How many times can you go up and down?

Mindfulness

  • RING THE BELL!
    Pretend to ring a giant bell. Say "The time is now!"

  • WATCHING THE SUNRISE!
    Imagine yourself sitting on a lovely beach watching the sunrise. The air is calm and serene. You can hear sea birds gently awakening and hear the soft sounds of the water as it hits the shore. Smell the wonderful aroma of the sea. Feel the gratitude for another beautiful day awakening.

  • FINDING PEACE!
    Get into a comfortable position and close your eyes. Think of a very peaceful place in your mind. See yourself immersed in the energy of this peaceful environment and take it all in. Enjoy the sense of peace you feel in the moment.

  • FIELD TRIP!
    Find a picture that makes you really happy. Stare at the picture for 30 seconds. Close your eyes and say, "When I need to feel peace, I will think of this picture."

  • COOL THE PIZZA!
    Breath in through your nose. Breathe out through your mouth. PIcture the pizza getting cooler. Picture yourself getting calmer.

  • EVERYDAY TREASURE!
    Pick up something you usually just walk past like a rock or a leaf. Draw a picture of the item. Beside it, write what makes the item special. Then write down what makes you special.

  • RUN LIKE A RACEHORSE!
    Run around like a racehorse. Say "I can reach the finish line."

  • THIN ICE!
    Pretend you are walking on thin ice. Take very careful steps. After each step say, "I am getting closer."

  • SQUEEZE AND GO!
    Use one hand to squeeze the other. Pay attention to how your body responds. Squeeze faster and slower. How does this make you feel?

  • ROBOT FREEZE!
    Push the pause button. Stand absolutely still for 30 seconds. What do you notice around you? Pleace?
